KEY VERSE:
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
REFLECTION:
God was there before anything else. God spoke everything into existence. He made the world of nature, fitting it together so that every creature would have its own place and the things it needs to live. Because God made them, they are good and valuable. God also made us. By speaking he created us in His image. On the seventh day, God rested and said it was good. Everything that God created was good.
PRAYER:
God of creation, thank you for making our wonderful Earth. Help us to be creative just like You. May we create things that are beautiful and good. May we have faith as we wait for Your coming. Amen.
