WHAT TO EXPECT:
Our goal is to create an environment where kids can have fun and meaningful, age-appropriate teaching that they’ll actually remember. From kindergarten to fifth grade, our team has created an age-specific service that is tailor made for the needs of your children. From the games to worship, and even small groups your child will have a blast! We want kids to learn about God’s love through His Word, and know how to apply that to everyday life at home and with friends. Your child will quickly feel right at home with our team.
Safety
Our kids’ safety is our top priority.
Whether you are a first-time guest or a regular attendee, your child will be in the care of an adult at all times.
Each child at check-in will receive an ID sticker with a corresponding claim ticket for the parent that the child must wear before getting dropped off in a classroom. If there is ever a situation where a child needs the special care of Mom or Dad, the number that corresponds to your child’s ticket will show up on the screen in service. Additionally, at pick up, your claim ticket must correspond with the child’s ID sticker given at drop-off.

Any person who works with Alvin Methodist Kids will be screened and interviewed prior to direct contact with children. This precautionary measure is for the protection of our children and for the ease and comfort of our parents.
All volunteers have certain, regimented guidelines to practice when dealing with specific age groups, dealing with areas of being alone with children, and when to notify parents in service.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact our Kids Team.
