Shangri-La Trip | Orange, TX

Thursday May 9 | 9am-5pm

Join us for a trip to Orange, TX with Pastor Wesley as he shares with us one of his favorite places near his hometown.
  • We will tour through the 252- acre Shangri-La Gardens
  • Take a bayou boat ride to experience the natural preserve
  • Experience some of the finest architecture by Wesley's favorite architecture firm Lake Flato
  • We will conclude the day with lunch at one of Wesley's favorite homestyle restaurants. 
  • Vans leave at 9:00am and arrive home around 5pm. 
  • Donations will be accepted to cover transportation costs. 
  • Lunch w/ drink is around $20.

Prime Timers Events

Adults 55+ Luncheonqaz

At Prime Timers Lunch and Bingo we gather for fellowship, food and occassionally entertainment. We are currently meeting every even numbered month on the second Thursday.

55+ Ministry Trips

Our 55+ adults regularly take day trips to museums, concerts and other attractions in the nearby area. Donations for transportation are requested and expenses vary per trip. We try to take a trip on the odd months of the year.

  • May 9 - Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Preserve. 9am-5pm.
  • July 11 - Fiddler on the Roof (A.D. Players at the George) 5:30pm
  • Sept 24-28 - Eureka Springs Passion Play and Branson
  • November 14 - Waco Magnolia Market / Truett Seminary
