Genesis 37: 1‐36
KEY VERSE:
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
REFLECTION:
Jacob had twelve sons, but he has not treated them all the same. He had one son Joseph that was his favorite. The other brothers were jealous and took an opportunity to sell Joseph as a slave and pretend to their father that he had been killed. But God is with Joseph even in slavery and brings him to a posion of honor for the good of the whole family and for the good of Egypt.
PRAYER:
Father, Joseph was sold into slavery but You were sll with him. Joseph forgave his brothers just as you forgive those who harm us. Help us love those who need our forgiveness. Amen.
