Fueled Up Family Night is our mid-week ministry that takes place on Wednesday night each week. From kids, all the way through senior adults, there is something for everyone!
Fueled Up Family Night is a midweek gathering designed to bring our entire church family together for food, fellowship, and spiritual growth in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Every Wednesday evening, we share a delicious meal, enjoy meaningful connections, and participate in engaging opportunities for all ages—from fun activities for kids, to our current thought-provoking Alpha study for students and adults that encourages conversation and faith exploration. It’s a night to recharge, connect with others, and be reminded that we grow stronger when we walk together. Whether you’re new to the church or a long-time member, there’s a place for you at Fueled Up Family Night—come join us and get fueled up for the week ahead!
At Fueled Up Family Night, our children’s ministry—Alvin Methodist Kids—is a place where kids can grow, play, and have fun in a safe and welcoming environment. After enjoying a meal with their family, children are checked in through our secure check-in system before heading to the kids wing of our building for the evening’s activities. Each week is filled with exciting opportunities just for them, including upbeat music, creative crafts, games, outside play, and engaging lessons that point them toward God’s love. While the kids are having a blast and building friendships, parents are free to fully engage in faith-building fellowship and our current study with other adults. It’s a meaningful time for the whole family—kids experience joy and learning in a safe space, while parents are recharged and encouraged in their own spiritual walk.
At Fueled Up Family Night, our Alvin Methodist Students ministry is the perfect place for Junior High and High School students to connect, grow, and have a blast. After enjoying a meal together, students head upstairs to The Loft, a space designed just for them, where they dive into an engaging, thought-provoking study that speaks to the real questions and challenges they face every day. Currently, students are participating in the Alpha Youth study, which is the same study adults are currently participating in, but geared specifically for our student community. Following the study, the night continues with games, activities, and plenty of opportunities to hang out and build friendships in a fun, welcoming environment. It’s an exciting midweek experience created to help students deepen their faith, strengthen their community, and recharge for the week ahead.

What is Alpha?

Our current study for adults and students on Wednesday nights is Alpha—a series of gatherings that create space for honest, meaningful conversations about life, faith, and purpose. Each session begins by sharing a meal and connecting with others, followed by a short talk that explores a different question at the heart of the Christian faith. Afterward, small groups provide a welcoming, judgment-free environment where everyone can share their thoughts, ask questions, and simply listen.
Alpha is designed for anyone—whether you’re exploring faith for the first time, new to church, or looking to deepen your relationship with God. It’s engaging, relational, and a great opportunity to build community while wrestling with life’s biggest questions together. We invite you to come be part of the conversation at Fueled Up Family Night—you won’t want to miss this opportunity to connect, grow, and discover. To learn more about Alpha, visit alphausa.com.
