Hospitality Team

Do you have a natural way of welcoming people and making them feel comfortable? Has anyone ever said you have a wonderful smile? Maybe you make the best banana bread. These are all ways you can put those natural skills to work to help make everyone who walks onto the campus of First Methodist feel like family.

Door Holder
Door Holders will stand outside the doors and open the doors for everyone entering while providing a welcoming smile. Door Holders will also be on the lookout for guests to help them know where to go.  We will need you to be available 30 minutes before the service begins and 15 minutes after the service.

Parking Lot Greeter
Show up 30 minutes before worship service to offer a smile to those driving onto campus. Direct guests to entrances and answer any questions. During rain provide umbrellas and needed assistance.

Baking Team
Show up 60 minutes before service with a homemade dessert, pastry or breakfast food available for all.

Food and Refreshments
Show up 60 minutes before the service beings to make coffee and set up coffee, lemonade, and water.  We also need help to clean up after the service.
